Like most remarks that are that good, I look at it and think, “Man, I wish I could have said it like that.”
So God gave you money so that you might use it in a way that demonstrates money is not your God but God is your God.

I have heard that same idea from someone at GSUMC at least two or three times in that last two and a half years. It’s almost as if money is a form of God’s love. I’m not saying that lack of money is an indication of the lack of love. Only that those with it need to use it wisely and share it, otherwise, it’s just a number on paper with no power. God’s love is similar in that it is meant to be shared with all.
