What If

August 29, 2008 1

What if I lose my job?

What if she’s pregnant?

What if he doesn’t come home tonight?

What if she gets in a wreck?

What if he doesn’t get into college?

What if I get caught?

What if, what if, what if.

Living in the “what ifs” leads to a life of anxiety and stress.

Come out this Sunday for a remedy. 8:30. 10:00. 11:30.

  • Talbot,

I just finished my Bible Study and wanted to share a quote from George Muller. He said, “The beginning of anxiety is the end of faith. The beginning of true faith is the end of anxiety.” The other quote was from Priscilla Shirer. She wrote, “Our anxiety always stems from a desire to control and indicates that we have ceased to trust the Lord.” Two great preludes to a great sermon tomorrow~!

I look forward to the message unless my little granddaughter makes her debut today!
