Here’s what Julie and I looked like on June 9,1984, in Princeton, New Jersey.
That day was hot, the preacher was sweating, the reception was crowded, I was nervous, but we were married.
In the intervening years, we’ve lived in Hamilton, New Jersey; Georgetown, Kentucky; Monroe, North Carolina; and now, of course Charlotte.
We’ve aged in some ways; not so much in others.
Best of all, we’ve had two children who don’t take themselves too seriously. Here’s what we all look like now:
All in all, there’s not much I’d change.

Great looking family! Congrats on your anniversary! -Ben S.
Congrats are surely in order this day. Yes, not much change. Of course, you both have less hair—Julie by choice, of course; and you…well, what can we can say!!! However, it is still perfectly coiffured.
Another year and another anniversary celebrated while separated by the miles. Congratulations and thanks for being the couple that you are!
Happy Anniversary! If that’s all Sanya and I will age in 27 years I will take it. Congrats T. Allen

Happy anniversary! It’s really funny, your children look much like you and Julie did in ’84!
My 2 1/2 year old daughter just walked in, took one look at your wedding photo, and said, “Look, a princess!” Happy Anniversary!
