Some of us have had pet rocks.
But not of us have had talking stones.
We’ll see what Jesus was talking about in Luke 19:40.
And we’ll also see that — as is true of so much else in the bible — context is everything. You can’t understand this verse unless you know what comes before and after it.

Question. I always thought this verse was literal – like a donkey speaking – that the stones really would “speak” (cry out).
I did hear the sermon but didn’t get a clear understanding of “cry out”.
Can you expound on this??
